Can anyone help me with this knife? While on vacation I paid $25.00 at a antique shop for a NIB knife.

Uncle Henry
Schrade

and on the other side of the tang is stamped

LB7B

Is this a Chinese made knife? And how is a LB7B different from a LB7?
I'll admit my knowledge of Schrades is lacking, but I'm pedaling as fast as I can! :D

Thanks!

The LB7B is made by Taylor Brands offshore in China, the B at the end denotes that is has Buffalo Horn handles, The LB7 is in dimensions the same knife exept that it has wood handles. The LB7 was made by Schrade USA originally, although the LB7B is made by Taylor in China only. keep pedaling, there is something new to learn about Schrade knives everyday, you may get worn out. LOL

The LB7 will have USA on it where it was proudly made and it will be proudly displayed on Original Schrades. Taylor made Schrades on the other hand will not have USA on the tang stamps and they'll do everything they can not to dsiplay where they were made.
