I regulary browse eBay looking for LB8's. Haven't seen any listed for a few days. I have to admit this is one of my favourite models. I believe these to be one of the more sought after and scarce later models. Just one qestion for you buffs. I've noticed some of the LB8's have Uncle Henry in script stamped on the tang and others with Schrade+ USA. What is the difference? Just curious as I have an LB8 model (1985?) with Schrade+ stamped on the tang with A7528 stamped on the bolster. I think I have the terms correct. I enjoy coming here. I hope someday someone will turn up with info on those serial numbers.

The Schrade + is stainless and the A7528 is the serial number and I know this because some of the sure enough knowledgable people here told me. Hopefully ,Larry (lrv), Orvet, El Lobo, or some of the guys who really know something will fill in here shortly. Sorry for the delay in answering, and welcome to the forum.. Stay with us!!!

Good ?. I have no idea when the shifted the signature.
I'll take a look and see what I can find.
All Robert Clemente's book give us is that the "older" models have the signature on the tang.. I'll keep digging.
