Great article, Sir Larrin! I really love LC200N. Edge holding is good enough for me and it’s really easy to sharpen, which is great for people like me who are bad at sharpening. I appreciate the toughness, and I seem to be able to rust most stainless steels in the humid summer, so I’m mostly carrying LC200N these days. I suspect it will eventually be supplanted by MagnaCut, and I look forward to that!

Awesome article as always.

Lc200n is one of my favorites living in FL.

Thank you, Dr. Larrin. Great article and very readable for us non-metallurgists.

I would be interested to see what you can design that would have the toughness and corrosion resistance of LC200N, yet have the edge retention of S90V or something.

(As a side note, I am constantly flabbergasted by the toughness of 420HC!).
