Can it be done? Frn USA made corrosion proof folder? Is the spring in the cbb lock capable of being rust proofed?

Since BD1 is highly rust resistant, I'm not sure there's much demand.

(Don't get me wrong: I love Manix 2s, and the LWs in particular, but BD1 shouldn't rust with just the most minimal maintenance.)

I was just thinking which USA model would work for an American made salt. The light weight manic already comes in frn, and it seems lc200n is performing well in the tusk.

I understand. I think it would probably be a cool knife.

I think Spyderco reserves the Salt label for H1 knives.

I am a big fan of the H1 steel. I think it would nice to have a H1 manix but I'm not sure how they could make the spring rust proof in there. A Ti ball would work for the CBB.

I came in here hoping this really existed!!!

Surfingingo with put the prototype to test for Sal

I'd jump two in a heartbeat!
H1 is my favorite steel due to my ususally wet, corrosive and somewhat dirty everyday use of knives.

Would love to try the Manix in H1, never got to get a normal one because of the steel!

I think a Manix in LC200 would be a great knife, if all the metal parts were made from this steel.

They usually done use h1 on USA made knives, but they managed with the autonomy so who knows.
