I only got to carry my Microtech LCC M/A for two days before the clip got hung on a seat belt (I think) I didnt even feel it get caught or bending away from the handle. I was lucky it didnt fall out of my pocket.

I saw in another thread where someone voiced concern over how strong the clip would be because of the way it is cut out, Well let me tell ya...It does bend EASY!

I bent it back the best I could, but now it looks bad, I'll call Microtech today and see if I can order 1-2 new ones with screws. I HOPE I dont have to send it in over this. I would love to have a clip BEFORE it gets ran through the cutting mill.

Follow up....Well they dont trust me putting on my own clip. So I have to send it back for repair.

I told them I did take it off to re-bend it, but they said it was OK, just send it in and they would fix it free with a new clip.

BTW,while I had them on the phone I asked two questions...

1. Could I get a clip which has not been cutout...A solid clip.
Answer: No

2. Could I replace the scale with one that has not been milled or drilled for the clip.
Answer: No

Couldnt hurt to ask!

I forgot to ask them, How is their turn around time for repairs? Am I going to be waiting for awhile?

Wow. I guess no folder is perfect. Still doesn't take away from the fact that it is a great knife.

Wish I had one.

I'd like to see a black clip myself! If one has to wear a clip at all....and a solid one would be better to!
