LCC picture request

Hi all -

I'm currently trying to decide whether to purchase the LCC or not, but unfortunately I can only rely on the pictures that I find on the web. Even more unfortunately, all of the LCC pictures I have found either have the LCC next to other LCCs, or by itself. And I have to admit, it doesn't look like all that much knife by itself.

Here's the request - could anybody post a picture, post a link to an existing picture, or make a picture of an LCC next to something fairly commonplace, i.e. ruler, coke can, etc. Placing it next to other knives is not very helpful for me since the nearest decent knife dealer for me is 1SKS, and they are over an hour away and only open M-F for visits

However, if there is a picture of it next to a Sebenza or Spyderco Native, that would be a useful point of comparison for me, since I own/have owned those two knives in the past.

Thanks for any pointers!

Hmmmm,...my wife is out of town and has our digital camera with her,...so I can't take pics of any real decent size comparisons for you at the moment, Matthew. The best I can do is this pic of my LCC with a dead rattlesnake;
LCCbites.JPG

and this picture of my LCC with my Dieter CQDII and my Commander;
TacTrio.JPG

I hope these pics help. If not, I'll take some better comparisons for you when my wife returns next week.

It may not look much bigger that the commander in that pic. (heck it looks smaller) But what the picture misses is the thickness of this knife. It is not light. Maybe if someone could should a front angle pic of the LCC next to the commander or something else, it will give a better idea of the heft of that knife.

Hi Eric,

Those sure are some nice pictures! Thanks for posting them.

Excellent suggestion Pergatory!

Love the mirror polish!

Out of all the finishes, I still like the stonewash the best for utility.

However the appeal of the mirror finish is very high for a show blade! Must take a lot of work to look after if you use it a lot?

Prof X, in my personal opinion, you should buy the LCC.

Value for money.
