I am wondering what material the liners are on the LCC. I can't seem to find it written anywhere, maybe I've overlooked it but I am sure someone here will know. I know the bolsters are Titanium but for some reason I think the liners are steel. Don't know for sure though. Thanks in advance, Dave

Yes, they are steel. According to MT, steel is stronger and the liner lock will wear better over time.

I have a couple of question of my own.

What are the capstan spacers made out of ?

And is there a factory replacement clip that is stronger than the original ? Or maybe an aftermarket clip ?

Overall, A truly incredible knife at $127 shipped...

Spacers are anodized Al. I haven't heard of an aftermarket clip, but lemme know if you fine any.

Thanks Bronco. I thought they were steel but didn't remember where I had seen it and wanted to confirm. Dave

I've been lugging the LCC for a few weeks, and I've wondered about the strength of the clip, myself. One poster even reported that he bent it the first day he had the knife. I've only bent one clip, and that was on a Benchmade CQC-7 when I hooked it on a door, my fault all the way. If the LCC clip is truly weak, wouldn't lots of owners be bending it and complaining in the forum all of the time?--OKG

I've bent the clips on several knives. I keep a couple in my tool box for that very reason.

Usually I cut to close to a corner, railing or something and the clip gets caught and may bend. Personally, I'd rather the clip bend then ripping my pants off. But that's just me.
