Yep. 
The axis mech is 99% the same on the 72x and grips - so I just added a second set of scales torx screws that tie into the lower part of the axis liners. The grip uses a floating stud there to tie together - but the 722 blade was hitting it. This pic doesn't show the second set of scale screws because I wanted to see what it looked like first.
anyway - I like it. The Grip was a 551S - and I don't like serrations...
