Both isn't an option for me. I'd really like black g10 though I don't own nor have I handled Tigerhide micarta.
What you gonna do???
 
Tigerhide Linen is awesome, but, If you really like black G10 then I'd wait. It'll be cheaper.
 
depends on price :) but I think I will try for #33 as I no longer have a SAR 6 and my SAR 4 is #33

EDIT: I must be smoking crack, because a CABS is not a SAR series knife. Soooo...how bouts a SARGE 3 :D
 
I can't help but read this thread title in a French accent. "Le Sargggge" :D Am I the only one?

I'll be waiting for different handle versions on this one. Really like the knife and it'll be my first Busse, but I don't need the LE (good lookin as it is).
 
Gonna pass all together. Removing the thumb notches hurts the knife in my eyes. With a 6 and 8 already available in basically the same knife, I wish they had spent their time working on a new design.

This ^ I honestly thought there were a bunch of other potential knives that would have been more popular choices as next in line for production. As nice as the SARGE is, I'll be waiting (not too long I hope).

Im glad its not a Nuclear Meltdown version because it makes it so hard to strike a Firesteel. unless you wanna use the edge but who wants to do that. Now I just have to sell some non busse knives then Ill be in the money.
Does anyone have an idea how long to expect these to be available?

Not long. Company store LE models might sell out in one night,or just a few days. Then they are gone. And we can't be certain that other handle options will be available in the future, but that it typically the pattern.
 
My vote is to wait for a non-le satin version. The only thing that worries me is that if a lot of other people do likewise, Busse may conclude it is not a popular model, and not bother to bring out other versions.

No SARGE LE for me, I'll wait for a B8 as the overall length should be almost the same.
I know it is right in between the pricing for the 6 & 8 LE's but with the thumb notches and nuke treatment gone I can't do it.
Maybe a canvas one if it is low enough in price... we'll see. :confused:
 
i have no interest in the sarge..

I want a knife more in line with traditional busses' ..

Only can afford one and the pricing of this one puts it way out of the ballpark anyway..

I want the LB team gemini.. or at least something similar
