12 cm version has some filework, not elaborate or nice as on more expensive pieces

Juniper handle,it is like having small perfume bottle in my pocket,
unfortunately they were uneven, one side was bit thicker

blade steel is Sandvik 12C27,it arrived reasonably sharp, now is sharper :D

Some small imperfections(or not so small, depends how far is your OCD gone ;) ),spring sits part of mm lower then liners when knife is closed(but perfect when open),uneven wood scales(fixed that),strange swedge on mark side of blade(or is it swedge  ) may be turn off for someone, but for me it is another working knife with nice design and reasonably good FF,walk and talk are nice, knife locks solid, sits centered and no bad movements at all,and i love it :)

Very nice rinos.

I keep eyeing up juniper handled Gallic cutlery, I've just not found the right one yet.

This is a very nice offering!

Enjoy the stylings, slicings and smells of your Sabot my friend

Nice knife
I've got a Chambriard Companion ,Norwegian Birch handle and a carbon blade ordered , I can't wait for it to arrive .

Interesting, I've had my eye on them for some time. I dig the blade profile, and 12C27, has been good to me, while lackluster. Very attractive knife.

Great knife, I love juniper scales, it won't lose it's aromatic scent either, I have a knife with juniper scales that are about 15 years old and it still has a great scent, the warmth of your hand will really bring the scent out.

I've got a rosewood compact from Chambriard, I love the knife! This was the first European folder I ever bought, and I use it for food only. I'ts nice to use it for lunch of french bread and cheese, sausage and tomato. Classy.

That looks very nice Rinos! I really like the looks of that juniper wood, and the blade shape appears that it would be excellent as a food prep knife. Thanks for showing it, and enjoy

Being part of Europe or so we are told it is easier for me to buy French knives and as a result i have several, from the inexpensive Opinel through to the Fontenille Pataud,i am a fan of the juniper wood covers also,i guess you have seen the famous Laguiole knives but a style you may not of heard of is the Capuchadou,i have a 10cm one in juniper it came in a leather slip case and the mixed aroma of leather and juniper wood is heady, also the curve of the handle makes it pretty much the most comfortable knife i have ever held, the blade steel is Sandvik 12C27 a common swedish steel used in France the knife is also available in XC75 carbon steel and of course the knives are hand made in France. Give them a look as "looking costs nothing" as my dear old mum used to say...
