It's been along time since I visited the forums and I have ordered about a half dozen Busse knives over the years.

I just ordered a SCABS LE because it seems to be the just the right size for camping.

But one thing I have always wondered about: what exactly is an LE (Limited Edition.) Is the number of LEs an exact fixed number? If so, what is that number?

Or does it mean that the number of LEs will be produced to meet demand?

Thanks for any help you can give me to answer this burning question. :confused:

I really don't think exact production numbers are ever made public. Unless they are very low numbers. i.e. 1 of 13, etc.
 
In the Busse universe, LE does not typically refer to any certain number of copies, instead it describes a particular combination of options that will only be available in that model run.
