I seem to recall a posting where a folder maker hade mad an inexpensive press using a large hyrolic bottle jack. I have searched for it in this forum, but cant find it. If anyone can help I would appreciate it. A link to the thread would be great. btw. It was probably at least 1-2 years back . Mean while,I will keep searching . Thanks for any leads.....Scott

You can buy similar presses also if your not interested in building it. Harbor freight has a 50 ton press (http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=46768 ) on their website, and a smaller 10 ton press also http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=44811

I have seen H frame presses with 20 or 30 ton bottle jack at several tool sales, and have some friends that have one. Can't remember the manufacturer though.
