Lead times?

I have a few Busses and Scrap Yards that I bought years ago. I was checking the website and one of the current offerings caught my eye, so I pulled the trigger.

But, things have changed a lot in the past 10 years and obviously Busse popularity has continued. Good for them!

That said, without annoying them and distracting from knife making, is there a way to get an estimate of current lead times? (Non custom).

To be fair it depends on what you buy. Grab bags and ganzas usually ship pretty fast. My TNT shipped in about a month. And some blades like the triceratops take much longer. Stock blades will vary depending on multiple factors.

I ordered a Hell Razor 2 on Jan 3rd...just received it today

I got all the stuff to make em now, if you want to try your hand at making one let me know.
Ooo, Ooo, Shiny Edges...
Pardon my butting in on that convo~ with Jackmandu, yet I would Love to participate in trying my hand at resourceful sheath making. I've been making sheaths on and off for several decades (probably over 50 sheaths now?) yet hardly ever with all the right resources, so they aren't always the premium quality I *envision* each time, but mainly for friends and my own knives (purchased or made) so hadn't mattered much heretofore. ("Heretofore;" I like that word; don't get to use it much)
But if you have the resources for pro-quality sheath making, let's talk!

Jackmandu happens to live up the road from me, which makes it easy if he wants to try making a kydex sheath. He sold me his tgulb kydex and then got another tgulb so needs another sheath, I was poking a little fun and extending an offer. If you find yourself in the bluegrass and want to make a sheath hit me up 👍

Really just depends. I’ve had ones that I’ve gotten relatively quick and I’ve had ones that have taken close to a year

Now I’m waiting to see which comes first, my new truck I ordered or my triceratops 😂

Thanks everyone.

I saw it was possible up to 32+ weeks on the order disclaimer, so obviously I needed to know if I should prepare myself for that kind of emotional hardship lol.

Just saw I was charged, so shouldn't be too long now.

It looks like the maker of the sheaths I have for my current knives isn't around anymore, or at least I can't find them (initials DB, lived in AZ).

Any recommendations for kydex with tec loc?
