Finished this one up this week. I used a farrier's rasp for the blade and tried for more of a leaf shape this time. Handle material is amboyna burl. OAL is 8 7/8" and blade length is 4 1/2". I used a piece of mammoth ivory and some black vulcanized spacer material for accent material. I'm starting to get quite a few requests for this style of knife, so let me know what you think.

that is pretty unique, and quite cool:thumbup:

Thanks for the comments guys. The piece of amboyna was a leftover piece that I had. It had a bad spot on the "end" and when I trimmed it down, I was afraid that it would be too short for a hidden tang blade, but it really turned out to be a good choice (I think). I left the handle a little "fatter" than normal because the balance point tends to be about 1/4" from the handle and I wanted to make sure that the knife remained as balanced as possible.
