Leaf Storm with Full Titanium Handle???

I am really liking the leaf storm for an EDC knife, but I handled a few at a local shop and I am just not loving the G10 overlay. Is there an option to buy this knife with a full Ti handle, or does someone make them to add on aftermarket?

I attempted to contact Wilkins, but according to his site, he no longer accepts orders for custom builds and currently has no Leaf Storms in stock, ready to ship.

If Kevin Wilkins isn't making them anymore, then I doubt there's a source for ready made Leafstorm replacement scales of any description. However, I'm sure there are a number of craftsmen who could make one for you. Not sure he'd do it or not, but I know Steve Rice (STR), who has his own sub-forum here, has made ti liners and scales for Spyderco knives in the past.

I have to assume he is not making them anymore this is stated on his site and he has yet to ever respond to any emails I have sent him over the last couple weeks. Too bad cause I really liked some of his custom options and would have paid his premium for the work... Will have to look at Steve Rice. Thanks for the info.

Interesting looking new knife design, but I absolutely hate the look of the wire pocket clips. I have a mint condition "Salsa" that was a gift to me years ago. The only knife I own that is "mint" because I hate the damn clip!
 
Do note that the narrow wire clips used on a lot of the newer Spyderco models, including the ti-RIL Sage 2, are totally different from the older wide ones used on the Salsa, Native III, and Assist. Much better retention, much less of the "oversized paperclip" look and feel.
 
i talked to K Wilkins a while back about scales for Spydie Leafstorms....

he said there was a change made that resulted in two different specs for LS scales from Spyderco. he stopped making custom scales when it was realized that his scales fit some LSs and not others.
