Leaf Storms...

Anybody seen any Leaf Storms out there yet? Other than the pilot runs? I see that Kevin Wilkins has on his website that they should be hitting shelves in June... Thats why I ask...
 
I'm on preorder for two so I'll know about a week before my dealer receives them.
 
I figured they would hit the stores before the Ti Sage, but that wasn't the case. At least the sage will tide me over for a bit.
 
I contacted my dealer a while ago about pre-ordering a few Leaf Storms... He got back to me, said he just got off the phone with Spyderco and was told there was no definitive release date, just "sometime this summer." So he said he thinks they would start production on them in June, and he should have some available by AUGUST!....

:grumpy: I was under the impression that the regular production run had already begun, since the pilot run has come and gone...

I was under the same impression. Guess it's not time for full production yet.
 
I asked specifically about these at BLADE. I was told it would be "a couple of months". I expressed surprise as I thought since the Pilots were gone that the Prod was underway but that is not the case.
