Received a leafstorm. The knife has lock-rock. I don't want to send it back to spyderco bit cannot return it. Is there a way to fix it at home so as not to have to sned it in?

While probably not everyone is going to agree. I always give framelocks a week or so to see if they settle into the tang cutout. Usually in my experience if there is a bit of bladeplay out of the box, it goes away after a week or so of cycling it open. That being said if you are brave enough, you can take the knife apart ( voids warranty ) and gently try pushing the lockbar inwards just a little. This may give it better contact. I would only do that after waiting awhile to see if the lockbar mates up with the tang cutout after a few days.
