I just received an AirWing from Joe Estrada today! For those of you who may not know, it is based on the EB-S but instead of being .25" thick (like the EB-S) it is .190" thick. The G-10 scales are also thinned. The best part: the top edge is sharpened! It is light and very, very quick in the hand. Very comfortable to carry. I carried it all day today and it just disappeared under my untucked shirt. This is going to be one of my favorite EDC - a great package for a small fighting knife that packs a big punch. This sucker would make one hell of a wound channel due to its wide blade. Also, you've got to love the EB series handles, the knife locks into your grip.

Now a few words about Joe Estrada. Joe is definately a top notch businessman, all around good dude and hell of a knife guy! I asked Joe about the availability of this knife probably over a month ago. He did not have any at the time and I asked to be put on his short list when he received one. Well Joe gets back from Thailand and gets an Airwing from Mick and emails me this week and lets me know he has it. How many times have you asked a dealer for a call when a knife comes in never to hear from them again? Not this guy, though! He remembers and contacts me right away. Joe overnighted the knife to me and I received it this morning. About a half hour after receiving the knife, the phone rings-you got it, it's Joe checking to make sure I received the knife and wanting to know what I think about it. Talk about service and someone who is really into knives!

In short, excellent knife and I met a good person in the process.

Mick, impressive knife!!!

Thanks guys,

Chris

I found the same when dealing with Joe. Very upstanding!

Please, let us see pics of your new blade!

Yo Chris,
Hey guy thanks so much for the kudos!!:D I am sooo glad you like the Air Wing I love it! With a safe full of Striders it's tough to settle on just one but the knife has so many great elements and the weight is hard to beat. Sharp as sh*t too!! Little sucker!
Anyway, I have about 4 different knives that I'm trying to post pix of...hopefully soon. If you beat me to it all the better! For those who have called/written... hang in there, progress is being made as you read this.
Thanks again for the write and I'll touch base soon.
Merry Christmas to ya!!
Joe

Sidewinder...thanks to you as well sir. Take Care...Joe
