Hello All...I hope you had a GREAT holiday. For me, I thought the action would slow down at the holiday, but we have been way busier than expected.

Just a quick note to let you all know that I have begun the process of getting the Lean Mean Streets airborn, with destinations all over the globe.

I've been getting a few at a time, and as I get them, they go out based on order date. Keep on the lookout for yours and thanks for your patience.

To any who have theirs already, please feel free to share your thoughts on the knife here on this thread.

Yours in friendship and service,

Got my LMS last week. Fit and finish is superior to the regular Mean Street, with the uniformity of the coating and fit of the handle slabs to be impeccable. After adjusting the kydex sheath to release the knife a bit more easily, I am ready to do some ice climbing this Saturday with the LMS along for the trip. I am very impressed with the solid feel and heft that the knife exudes.

Now, Mr. Prisco, if I can just get my 2nd LMS and Badger.

Then perhaps a Steel Heart.

I think that I may have some issues developing.

Thank you Super-Andy...

I got up this morning, way too early for normal people, dice up some deer meat pieces for a big ole pot of chili, and fire up this here Inter-nit. Of course, I glide right over to the forums. I call up the old "active topics" and come across this thread and this picture.

My first thought was, "Man, am I'm glad my wife left me." Obviously, from the look of things I need another Busse masterpiece...

I think I am going to go out and buy that woman a present, you know just to show my appreciation...

Do it right,or not at all.

Lean Mean Street is a dandy. Sheath is a bit sticky. Anyone want to share some tips on how to loosen it up a bit?

BTW, Lean Badger, Lean Badger, Lean Badger, Lean Badger...

Hoodoo,

Sorry about the sticky sheath....

If you have a heat gun (Hair dryer will do), slightly heat the micarta sheath in the area of the front hole.

Slightly open the sheath in this area.

This should take care of it!

If you continue to have problems, send it back to the shop, to my attention. It will be fixed and returned to you at no charge.

Sincerely,

Brent,

Thanks for the inquiry.

There are a few Lean Means remaining!

Contact Andy to place your order...don't wait too long!

Mucho thanks, David. I will see if I can rustle up a hair dryer around here.

The blade kinda wants to go in cattywampus and then it is locked pretty darn tight. But if you give it a little counter clockwise twist so that the blade is parallel with the sheath, it REALLY locks to the point that you can't remove it until you twist it back. BTW, I'm not sure what you mean by the front hole.

Wait a sec. I think I know what you mean. You were referring to the front hole on the knife? If that's so it make sense 'cause that's where its tight.
