i removed the handles cause it's impossible to high polish around them...i am using chicago screws to hold the scales for a minute till i can flare some more tubing like the factory fasteners....funny thing is ....when buffing this knife it throws sparks just like Titanium and it's very hard to sand just like Titanium...i also have a new Badger that i am working on....its much more work cause when i removed the coating there was a lot of pitting and its alot of work to remove ....i will post pics when that one is done.

how did you remove the handles? did you just drill out the fasteners? oh, and another question... are the handles applied before or after a coating/finish is applied; is there any finish/coating underneath the slabs?
