I can't wait until tomorrow when I get to grind knives with one of the best in the business, Scott Gossman himself. Scott offered to show me around the shop and teach me the Gossman way of knifemaking. I can't believe after all the years of using knives in the woods and on the water, I've never learned the process. I'm really psyched for the trip and will certainly post a thorough review of what we do.

That's a great opportunity! Enjoy!

Hey, Kevin, was that you in the photos in the Tactical Knives article about Nessmuk Trios?
Sort of looked like you and I though I recognized your Fox' and waxed sheath.

Of course, there was no mistaking that O1 beauty on the first page of the article.

Just got home. Kev, is on his way home, left about 12:30 pm. He took quite a few pics. One thing I did was start a fire with a fireboard and spindle. First time I ever tried that. :D I'll let him post the details of the last two days. Awesome time.

Checking in guys. What a great time! I watched the master at work although it was like play for him. He really enjoys what he does. I'll post more soon but I need to rest up first.

Here are some pictures of Scott's fire bliss!

How long did it take you to get the fire going?

Looking forward to the rest of the pictures.

Hey Scott,

Cool bandanna!

What sort of classic rock do you listen to?

Is ZZ Top among them? :D

Big fan of the Texas trio myself.

Those bandannas save my bald head from flying debris. :D
I like the 70's rock the most but also the 60's. The 70's had the best rock ever. yep, ZZ Top is one my favorites along with Ted Nugent, Bad Co., Zepplin, just to name a few.
