Other than possibly Tandy, I am not familiar with any of the leather suppliers or leather working product suppliers.

Any information regarding who you get your stuff from would be appreciated.

Here's a great company, Hide Crafter Leathercraft in Fort Worth,TX. This company was started 3 or 4 years ago by professional leather artist George Hurst. Has done a number of videos for leathercrafters. Their phone number is 1-888-263-5277. They carry a full range of leathercraft tools and supplies. I have ordered from them several times with zero problems.

Leather Unlimited in Belgium, WI is also a good company. Their selection is not as good, but the prices on leather are decent. They claim to be wholesale price to everyone. I don't have their contact info with me. Unless someone else posts with it, I will try to post it tomorrow.

Tandy was the best. It is unfortunate that it was deemed necessary to close all the stores and cut their manufacturing.

Weaver and HideCrafter are both excellent places and I reccomend them highly.

You might also like to subscribe to a neat magazine that is called;

Leather Crafter's Journal

The magazine is dedicated to those that work in leather, all sorts. You can order past issues or just articles on sheaths and things.
Each magazine has a pullout section that contains full size drawings to use as templates on various projects.

C.L. Maybe you should add Moscow Hide and Fur. They not only have rattlesnake skins and the like, but different types of antlers and horns as well as bones, you just have to look around the site for ideas too.
