I bought myself a longbow recently so I thought I'd make myself a quiver. Here is the result.

Thanks for looking!

Nice work on the quiver, but you need to replace those fletches with feathers for your longbow.:)

very awesome, I remember seeing 2 different quivers with a similar design a while back. the first had fabric over the open and a draw string to keep the arrows from rattling, the second didn't. It was like your quiver. I have to ask though, is it supposed to be a back quiver?

because the opening on the side may make that problematic for returning arrows to quivers. the most recent one that I saw like yours hung on your side with the arrows pointed up toward your shoulder. you can reach in the opening, push the arrow up then pull it out from the side of the quiver rather than going over your shoulder. kind of like where a messenger bag hangs.

either way, I love the open design of this quiver, always have and always will

I too saw a side quiver of similar design. That is where I got the open idea. It is a back quiver. I found out the hard way they will fall out if you do not pay close attention to what you're doing.

That quiver looms great though, another question though, can you put broad heads in it or would you need foam padding in it?

I reckon being leather the inside may get scratched up a little. (I haven't shot broadheads yet) Though the base is made from leather molded around walnut so it wont touch that.

Walnut will be tougher than mine, I recently got a vintage bear back quiver and the bottom was reinforced by the previous owner with Cutouts from a cardboard cigar box.

also, by any Chance do you know where you saw the side arriver like this? I can't seem to remember
