I made this out of 10oz. tooling leather.

Pretty happy how it turned out so I thought I'd show it off.

Hope that's ok.

Wow, that's some really nice leatherwork Brian, super clean look.

Best regards

Robin

Wow that looks amazing. Have you done a lot of leather work? I hope so because my masks are total garbage compared to that.:(

how much would you charge for something like that?
I have a couple I need for my more sharper ladies.

Thanks for the positive replies everyone!

I really appreciate it!

The color scheme was chosen because this was made as a giveaway in honor of a fallen friend ... the Red was one of his colors.

that is nice! ive been wanting to attempt one for my KP, but i highly doubt that it will turn out so nice...

That's lovely Mr S.

I think a double line of stitches can look really great but never really found a project to do em on.
The red thread is a nice touch, especially given the meaning.

Very nice. Can you tell me if the sheath is one piece of leather excluding the welt ? Also, if you don't mind- what purpose does the long strap serve? I have seen sheaths built like that- on horse/ saddle maker sites with "D" rings also. I guessed they had something to do with attachment to horse or saddle.
Thanks

Yeah, It is one piece and you are right the strap is a traditional style setup for horseback ... or whatever you need to strap it to.

Here is a pic of it on the axe.
