So has anyone seen the sheath that Dave Canterbury has for his pathfinder knife made by Blind Horse? Leather backer with kydex sheath. Anybody around here sporting something like that for their Becker?

that backer is pretty easy to make - all they've done is take a piece of leather the same width as the sheath and nearly twice as long.
fold it in half, set your sheath on top and mark holes.
punch 1/4" holes top and bottom, left and right - then use chicago screws to attach it to your sheath.

Hmm, maybe that's a good place for me to start messing with leather, something I've kind of had a hankering to do.

a couple improvements you might consider -- run a bead of contact/rubber cement down both sides, and add a 2" wide slot between the top rivets so you can thread it on a pack strap or on your belt for scout carry. (you can also run some stitching between the holes if you want)
I made a couple of these for a buddy who already had kydex and was tired of the high carry from his tek-lock and the clatter of the kydex rattling against the car keys in his pocket.

Google-fu tippmann clicker :D

Makes repetitive things like that a dream. When I finish all these patterns I am sending them all off for dies to be made, Would save me a ton of time per week.

Interesting. Very interesting. I like that, a lot. On my list of very expensive tools I ''need'' LOL
