its been a while since ive posted on here, life has been keeping me busy!

Ive been thinking about getting a leather sheath for my bk15, I dont see many crossdraw setups and I was wondering how well they work. I do a lot of back country camping so Im in the canoe a lot and want something comfortable while paddling. I have seen the one on patriot leather, but was wondering if anyone has any experience with this setup or any pics of it on a belt?

Thanks

Here is what I have today. I don't know if this is everyone's definition of cross draw but here is my creation of one. Its for a 14 but I have a similar one for my 16. Its very comfortable, I hardly know it's there.
Check out Dex's work, a lot of compliments on his work. He's a regular here. His website is coyleoutdoors.com. I wouldnt see why a scout style setup wouldn't work the same

I don't have a crossdraw sheath, BUT, I do want to make one for my BK15.

For me, what sold me on the idea was actually the stock sheath. The mole attachment thing on the back can be used to rig it up in an almost crossdraw fashion. For me, I seem to like it best just barely left of the belt buckle works best (the handle stops just barely to the left of the belt buckle). I like it there because the body is flatter there (humans are more typically ovalish, so for me my "flatter" side is my front, not my sides). This means the handle doesn't stick out as much in this configuration.

The knife angles up at about 15 degrees or so, which works pretty well. I could do completely horizontal, but the stock sheath doesn't really allow for that.

I find it comfortable to wear while sitting down, so it should work ok for canoeing.
