hey, how much should i pay for a desert dagger with a leather handle. i saw one in a shop and thought about it but the price seems too high. they were asking 200
 
The Leather handled Desert Daggers were a limited run a long long time ago and IMO Worth way more then they are asking. I'd jump on it for that price. Seriously if you like that style knife get it!! Or tell us where so we can snag it.
 
hey, just thought i would follow up on this. i went back to the shop today and asked about the knife. the owner said he would let it go for $100, i said absolutely. its number 12 of 250. i am very pleased! it is nib, cardboard sleeve and all.

Nice score! That knife sure is pretty. You practically stole that knife!! Save it, cherish it and pass it to your kids some day. ;) Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.
 
also, two things: how should i store it? anyone ever see one of these for sale? i have no record of any for sale here or ebay.
 
Wow $100, that's the score of the century. I've never seen one of those for sale before. I reckon you'd get $500 easily if you put it on eBay.

the best way to store it is at my house ... no charge !!

after having for a few days i am finding it harder to fathom selling it. ill be honest, when i bought it my intention was to sell it for a quick profit but it is growing on me strong. this knife is like a ghost though when it comes to information, specifically sales records. i cant even find a single post on any forum where someone mentions even owning one. someone here must have one too right?
 
scratch that, i did find one post here from a few years ago where someone mentions having one.
