not a leather sheath maker . but i do have some leather conditioning stuff

my question here is , i bought a leather sheath from an online store ,and it stated ,,"These sheaths must be cased (wetted) and form fitted to your individual knife. The sheaths are not sealed or finished."

which step first ?

im assuming
1) case wetted ,,and form fitted

2} ??

3) ??

thanks guys

I case and wet form followed by a dip in a neatsfoot oil paraffin wax mixture and then finish it up with just neutral shoe polish. Just make sure you don't get too much oil on the sheath because it will be too soft. When I dip it I do it very quickly but you may just want to do several light coats. Better too little than too much because you can't get the oil out once its in.

With regard to Neatsfoot oil, dipping even for a very, very short submersion will put way too much oil into the leather. I think you would get much better and consistent results rubbing the oil on with one or more very light applications and then your wax treatment if necessary, or if the wax is mixed with the oil as mentioned above, use the same wipe on procedure. The oil and wax would necessarily have to be heated to mix thoroughly but not applied really hot, just fairly warm.
