leather for a large sebenza?

hey all. i'm soon-to-be a proud owner of a new, large sebenza. i like belt carry, but i haven't been able to find some nice leather for my seb that suits my lifestyle.

i am looking for a leather sheath, black, that can be fit for side or up/down carry, AND fits a 1.75" belt (ACU belt).

the only leather sheaths i can find are this one:

i used to have this sheath, but it did NOT fit my belt. and i have to wear the belt i've got.

any ideas? a little thinner or less bulky would be nice too. but tough, it's gotta be tough leather.

There was a thread on this subject a couple of months ago. I looked but couldn't find it. Since you are gold member, do a search on sheaths in this forum and you will find lots of option.

those sheaths are super excellent for both small and large sebbies but, 1.75" belt will not fit properly! You need to use a smaller belt or vertically carry only with a 1.5" belt. This is a fact! 1" belts are ideal for horizontal or vertical use.

I also like JRE industries www.jreindustries.com for custom stuff. They will work to make exactly what you want and are very reasonable.

thanks for all the info, guys.

i shot vess an email a few days back but haven't gotten a response yet.

i checked out that link to jreindustries, but it doesn't look like they have a sebenza in their samples? ideally, i wouldn't have to mail my knife out to get fitted for a sheath.

I am right handed and put the sheaths on my left hip so it is called a cross-draw, horizontal position.

Although These aren't Sebenza sheaths (Vadim is working on left hand canted crossdraw one for me now) here's the ones he made for my SOG Tomcat III and my Benchmade Ruckus.
