I know I dont have any posts, but Ive been here for a couple years. I found this name in a cartoon and it was just perfect so I changed over from Wasz to this. Anyway, I did a search, but I didnt quite find what I was looking for so I thought I would ask. Im looking for a new wallet, I liked THE Wallet JR but I really want a leather wallet so, where can I get one that will hold a good deal of stuff and will be nearly indestructable? I guess its possible Im asking for too much, but you guys always seem to come through.

Let me get this straight: You was Wasz? :D

Man I have a nice wallet. I bought it at a art fair about 6 or 7 years ago. It's all leather, none of that "leather stuff" in the inside that falls apart after a year or two. All hand made by a guy from Minnesota. I wish I had saved his business card because in another 20 years I am going to need a new wallet. I paid $53 bucks and it's worth every penny. It still looks good, No cracks in the leather, no rough corners from wear and tear. Still holds it's shape. What I am trying to say is find a guy that makes leather garments or shoes and have him make you a handmade wallet. All leather no fabric lining. You will be happy, You will keep a dissapering trade alive, and you will have a wallet that will make you the envy of your peers.

Yeah I was Wasz, still am I guess? But I was away for roughly half a year and now Im back so new name that I like and hopefully an upgrade to honost to god paid membership before long. Also thanks for the replies thus far.

I have ALOT of wallets. I would recommend:
-Filson Packer and Outfitter
-Orvis Battenkill
-anything Bosca
-anything Mulholland
-anything Ghurka

You should be able to pick any of the above either new or used for less than one hundred dollars (except maybe the Ghurka). All are great.
Matt
