Leather Kit pouches ?

Hey John what happened to the Leather fire kit, mini survival kit pouches that you and CBryant were talking about doing ?

Christmas will soon be on the horizon and I'm sure plenty would like to find something like that in their stocking !!!!!

Either pit has been "sniffing" the wildflowers again, or I`m getting more senile and feeble minded than usual! I don`t remember any kits.
 
So that`s what you are talking about! Just one more thing that`s not going to happen. Christian is still a young guy with better things to do than make strikers all day, rumor has it that he actually has a life! :eek: :D

But are still considering making the pouches, either for firekits or to hold an Altoid tin kit etc ?:confused:

Maybe while my blades are tempering in my oven after heat treating tomorrow (I`ll have 4 hours free) I`ll try to make one to fit an Altoids tin.
 
Cool little pouch. Have been thinking about trying to make something very similar to that for my Blackberry Tour...manly it up a bit.

HAHAHA Talk to my employer about that! We are getting into out busiest time of year....not quite there yet and I'm working 6 days a week right now. Not that I'm complaining about working....it just not leaving time for much else.

I would love to sit around the forge all day and make strikers....and knives... and anything else. I have a list of projects that I have no idea when I will be able to get to them. Maybe once it starts cooling off and work slows down a bit. It has been anywhere from 104 to 112 degrees here during the day latley....not going to find me standing over a fire any time soon! But when I do I will make as many as time allows.
 
It`s been in the low 70`s during the day and high 40`s at night here, perfect weather!
 
This sounds like a cool idea. I am really looking forward to the pocket fire kit! You slap anything in a container and call it a kit and I'll buy it! :D

That`s the problem. For the material it took to make this I could make 2 knife sheaths! I would have to get $35 to cover it, including shipping, I don`t expect to sell any at that price.
 
I'd buy one at that price. Maybe not at this moment but in the near future.
