Leather maintenance Q's

I have a SwissChamp sheath and I only have Obenaufs LP, but am getting Neatsfoot oil now.
Just wondering if it is okay to rub Neatsfoot oil on the inside of a leather sheath / pouch?
Another question, does Warming the oil helps it absorb better?

Yes warming it helps it absorb better, Go very very lightly whenusing neatsfoot as a conditioner. It is very easy to overdo it. I would be heistant about the inside for that reason.

Wise words. Too much Neatsfoot will turn leather into a floppy mess.

I'll add another caution; beware of the variation of neatsfoot with "Compound" in the name. It contains petroleum distillates. Baaaad stuff for the longevity of your leather goods. Look for Pure Neatsfoot Oil, its more expensive but worth the effort.
