I am going to send out my two safe queens this week for some much needed pants!!! If I can find someone who would do it ;)I have held off as these are IMO my most corollectible Busse kin blades. They are mostly mint! I cant decide if I should do a Kydex sheath, which might mare the double cut finish, but would give them a nice tight tactical feel. A black leather dangler, which is nicer on the blades finish and would look like a more classic fighting knife sheath. or the cardboard sheath and maybe a display case instead as a sweet shrine to the almighty Busse fighting knife. I dont think any other Busse fighting knife looks so wicked or feels so livley in hand! Does anyone have any pictures of a Busse assault ring fighter sheath??? Surely someone must have used these when they first came out. What do you guys think the best option would be.

hmmmm, lemme think, well, I guess you could go with leather. ;)

Those two would look awesome with matching multi carry rigs!

First of all, I wouldn't /won't sheath safe queens. Even though the chance of sheath abration is a lot less with leather, it's still possible.

If you do get sheaths, Leatherman is 'The Go To Guy'

I have had people tell me that leather will never scratch metal but I beg to disagree. It may be minute particles of dirt in the leather but on more than one occassion I have seen leather ruin a finish.

I agree 100%

Agreed, no sheath, even the cardboard ones, will keep the finish pristine. Especially bead blast which is one of the easiest finishes to mark up. But in Chucks defense he did say that leather has a lot less of a chance of doing it. By nature, the harder the material the harder it rubs.

also d-wayne is a great leather bender
