Leather Sebenza Sheath

I just received a custom made leather sheath for my large Sebenza. It was made for me by JRE Industries and I am very happy with the way it turned out. I have been carrying my Sebenza around with the pocket clip for a while and I thought I'd try a belt sheath. It holds the knife very snug and the flap is there more for looks than retention.

Anyway, let's hear your thoughts and how you guys (and gals) carry your Sebenzas.

I like the good ol pocket clip. I really do not like having any kind of sheaths on my belt as I find they get in the way during my regular life activities. Im a pretty active guy and often wear clothes without belt loops. Ive tried to get used to a sheath knife but it was not for me. However, I do appreciate a well made sheath and I must say the one you got looks great!

Does it fit with the pocket clip on?
Can you mount it both vertical and horizontal?

I've been really thinking about getting a sheath made since I work in pretty humid areas and there are times when I pull my Sebenza out of my pocket and its covered in sweat.

Thanks for posting! I think this post might have pushed me into getting one.

I also like the simplicity of the pocket clip. This is just part of my experimenting that may or may not be my final method. I have tried clipped, no clip in a pouch and now the sheath. It's quite possible I will come full circle and go back to just carrying my Sebenza with a clip in my pocket. :)

I had this one made for a no clip Sebenza and vertical carry only. After trying it out, I'm wondering if horizontal carry might be less intrusive.

Very nice. I have three sebenza sheaths from Lifter's leather and I am happy with those. One is a combo for a seb and a leatherman wave. Use that sheath well.
