I just ordered a Swamp Rat Rodent Solution. I would like a quality leather sheath for it. Basically a Randall style. Been trying to get in touch with Chuddy Bear with no luck. Is he usually hard to get in touch with? Are there other sheath makers of same quality as Chuddy Bear? I really like his stuff. Thanks in advance for your help.

I would also try contacting Armoralleather, Rainwalker or Rowe's Leather. All produce very high quality leather sheaths.....:)

Yep, have had a bunch of Chuck's work and really like it but like a_c said don't leave out exploring the other makers as well.

Here is a pic of some of Rowe Leather,

You can't go wrong with any of the makers listed here. I have Armorall leather,Rainwalker and Chuddy bear. All are really nice sheaths but very different from one another. I do really like Cuddy Bear style where the leather comes up over the scales and the keeper strap goes around the leather.

I highly recommend checking out Rainwalker's sheaths. He's really good to work with and his craftsmanship is excellent. Here are two sheaths that he's made for me:

I own a Chuddy sheath. It will survive a nuclear bomb:thumbup:

Just have a little patience, Chuck's a busy man. He will respond when time allows him;)

That's what is nice about our community here, there is a huge talent pool. :)

Congrats on the Rodent Solution, one of the best EDC's of the Swamp. I love mine.

Many thanks to those who suggested me. :D I'm a one man shop, but full time provider for my family so it means a lot.

Agreed, I have leather from all of the above and you can't go wrong with any of them. However, I usually go with Dwayne

So when you say leatherman you mean Armoralleather? Also what is that smaller knife with the orange scales? Awesome

That would be correct Armoralleather!!! I know Dwayne from several places and have just always called and or referred to him as Leatherman which is his forum handle here. Uh the Small Orange is the SOS-Active Duty & the small one in Dwayne sheath is a Pumpkin BAD. The Smaller knife attached on the belt extension in the 1st pic is a Pumpkin -Hack.
Hope that helps.

Sorry feathers. I have been a little behind on e-mails. The other makers listed are all top notch! I am sure you would be happy with any of their products.

Good to see ya Chuck! :)

I would 2nd this as well. Jeff, makes some of the best. Jeff aka Rainwalker, and Chuck at Chuddy Bear are both a pleasure to deal with from start to finish:thumbup:

Be sure to post a pic of the finished product once you decide on something and it makes it to you.
