Leather Sheath Care

well, most of my sheaths are kydex but the new bravo 2 i got just seems to appeal so much more with the leather sheath it came with.

its somewhat wet on the coast and winter camping with the leather sheath might produced mixed results.

so i was wondering if you guys could provide some info and advice on leather sheath care.

things such as what i should treat it with, how frequently, etc.

This is a case where if you ask 12 different people, you'll get 12 different responses, but here's my 2 cents: Just about any leather conditioner out there will do...I favor Doc Bailey's Leather Tonic (Google it) , Neatsfoot Oil is great too....if it gets wet, let it dry then apply.....don't store with the knife it it for long periods....it could stain the blade....there's moister in them thar oils.....and keep it away from the dog....
