I know i saw a tut on fitting a pouch style leather sheath here someplace and I can't seem to find it. I'm working on a knife for a buddy and will go with the appropriately sized leather sheath from knifekits or texas supply (or another vendor if i find one i like) but I need to know the best way to get this sheath to fit the knife right.
Also, anyone ever use Sno-seal to finish a leather sheath? I have used this stuff on my boots for YEARS and as I type this i have a pair of Columbia Diablo Mid's on that are 10 years old and look like they just came out of the box. they have HUNDREDS of miles on them hunting and daily use. I'm actually thinking about getting them re-soled if i can find a shop to shave the existing tread down ...but that's for another forum.
