Thanks to all of you. I used vinegaroon and barley to dye, then the leather was waxed to waterproofing.

I hope you don't mind , but I'm going to have to try the splatter pattern. Did you just simply dip a brush in the dye and just flick it on the leather?

Try changing the engine oil on your truck out in the paddock on a windy day .
Everything your wearing will have that effect , not just your sheath
Nice work , sheaths like that just beg to be used and used hard :thumbup:

V8r: apologize for the late answer mate. You're right: I made it dipping an old brush on the vinegaroon, then I use it like the priest when is blessing. Then I use barley to add the brown color. Hope this help.
