Leather sheath for HEST?

I'm a little burned out from all this kydex and velcro tactisexual gear. I'm looking for old school quality.

Who makes (or can make me) a leather sheath for the HEST? I'm looking for a vertical carry black or brown one. Not sure if a snap is needed if it is a good, high fit. Also not sure if there is enough room to put a sharpening stone pouch on the outside of it (like the Randalls), but I'd like to see if something like that exists. OWB carry.

I'm looking for quality here. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

muchas gracias!

We have a HEST and would be happy to make you a leather sheath.

This is what I'm looking for, I believe.

I'm interested in the high-rise Randall style pouch model. In your opinion, is there room enough on that one to include a sharpening stone pouch? The HEST blade seems too short to be able to fit the pouch, but what do you think?

It would have to be a fairly small stone... What about a loop on the side for a sharpening rod instead?

Sweet! Here's a pic of the Randall style sheath for the HEST we did recently. Looks like there's enough space on the spine for the EZ Lap, I can take a picture of the pattern next to the rod if anyone wants to see.

This pattern works with the X loop as well. :)

Thanks brother, that's Medium Brown, a fairly new color to us, but its been out for quite some time. Its replacing Saddle Tan in popularity. I really like it.

Now, off to finish that holster, not really my specialty but fun to play with something that goes BANG! :p As opposed to something that really really wants to bite me at every opportunity. :o

Yes, indeed, it does look great. I ordered one just like it today.

Question: from this angle, the loop on the back looks like it is for some really big belts. Maybe it is just how the picture turned out. I don't use a belt wider than 1.5", will the sheath move around a lot because of excess play?

We can make the belt loop to fit the belt you want it to fit. There isn't much play even in a large belt loop like that due to the fact that it is flat so you have slight friction. That belt loop was designed for multiple angles (cants).
