Made this with veg-tanned leather, no dye, Obenhauf's HD Leather Preservative and some good old Barge cement.

Very well done, Hoosier. Good workmanship, and I like the retention strap. What is that ball and slot fastener called? I can't remember off the top of my head.

Dan

That's a Sam Browne button. Snaps are very hard to do correctly without a press...which I do not have.

SWEET! Great job. Did you get the skull stamp from Tandy Leather?? I like that one.

Talent is always appreciated here.

I got everything but the paracord from Tandy. We have a store here in Indianapolis. It's a buffalo skull. I press the stamps with a big C-clamp setup I have. Brings out all the detail on the stamp. I wait until the wet leather has just returned to dry color, the really screw it down tight against a steel anvil and then let it sit a couple of minutes. If you do it too wet, I find the impression sort of eases back out if you will.

Great job. Been trying to figure out what I want to do for my BK7. I'll take some time and try something different. Like that sheath man, very cool.
