Nice piece of work!

I never studied leather stitching, and I have some of those tools in my kit. :o

Looks like itll do the job. Always nice to make ones own sheath.

How ever, I advise against using the type of ring, which You have chosen to use between loop and sheath - at least if its the same quality as the ones I experimented with using for a sheath.

Do not trust the locking mechanism to stay closed under all conditions. Better to use another solution.

Either make the belt loop with push buttons or deal with a solid ring and undo the belt rather than losing your beloved blade.

Thanks, I always use the saddle stitch, and do a stitch groove which protects the stitch from wear.

Beautiful!

Thank you,

Thanks, these are pretty high quality rings and I've used them for several years on numerous of my own sheaths. I'm not jumping from airplanes or any high speed stuff. I trust them for my own use. They give me versatility on my sheath options. I'm open to ideas for other fasteners of this type.

As long as You are happy with the rings.

I just found, that the locking mechanism could be forced 'out of joint.' The rings I have experience with were very flimsy and not to be trusted - You might have some of better quality as the finish is different as well.

Thanks a lot guys, I really appreciate the support. Ethan, thanks to you as well. I now own three of these Machax, and am working on getting more of other models as well.
