leather sheath for sebenza: home made

Hey all,

I've been wanting to make leather sheaths for some time, so I started working on some this week and this one is the first I've made, finished it yesterday and I've got to say I'm pretty proud of it, having never done anything like this before.

I watched a youtube video from a guy name vercengetoryx and just had to give it a shot.

so, what do you think? Give it up, or give it some more tries...

Thanks for all the encouraging words, I'll give it another shot soon. I like this sheath making stuff, it's just an extra opportunity to use my knives.

I would say it is an excellent first effort.

A suggestion for your next project. Perhaps you could try making a simple flap to close over the top of the knife for better security.

I would have to give you high praises on the sheath. Looks solid and very well made...very classy looking.
