That sheath is GREAT. Super well done.

One question though. Isn't it wrong handed? :p

Nope, looks like its on the right left side to me! :p didnt notice that before, and me being a lefty! Blashphemy! :o

What's the leather thickness? Looks like maybe 8 oz from the picture.I don't see too many goombahs in the tooling. Basket weave can sure be forgiving, not like trying to tool oak leaves or Hycanthus blooms. It sure does look better for service holsters and scabbards.

When I get home, I am going to build an adjustable sheath for my DBR that will go high or low ride on my belt. I am thinking of doing a one piece wrap-around holster style, but that may be too much for the leather I want to use. I also want to build a cross draw sheath for attaching to my backpack, and maybe a combo sheath holster for my DBR and my Ruger Super-Redhawk. Alas, so many projects, so little time.

That choil cut in the blade sure does make that snap location work. :)

Thanks to every one who look at this post and thanks for the credit.

Leatherman , your work was alway great work . Me and some of my freinds love your work more but not all the time we could effort for it in every knife we have. :)

This Sheath is actually for left handed person.
Yhe person below is my doughter who own this one . She use it when going to the jungle for taking photograph.

However if I were to carry this one on my right I can also carry it with the handle down.

The othe side of the Sheath needs to be modified a little bit further to allow carrying at the back side at the belt location . The way of carrying should be horizontal.

I try to design this shaeth for some of my freinds who collecting knives and don't want the knife to get scratches from the sheath.

You can appreciate that the choil of the knife will have autonatic lock when the Shath Belt at the locking position.
