I'd like to hear some of your recommendations for a good leather sheath maker and if possible contact info.
Thanks!

What type of project do you have in mind? I'm getting into sheathmaking myself and am always looking for new projects. :)

That's easy:

Chuck Burrows (Wild Rose)
Sandy Morrissey
Tess Neilson (via J)

all of whom can be found here or on other forums. Each has their loyal following and all cooperate with one another.

I haven't made many knives and the few I have I had Frank Sigman make the sheaths.I've got some people that want some of my knives and they prefer leather.
Roadrunner,I'll have some ready hopefully in a couple of weeks,I'll let you know.
ddave,I've saw some of Tess' work and it looks great,I didn't know she made for anyone but J.
Thanks!

Thanks for the referral Dave but I'm not doing much in the way of "modern" stuff anymore and besides my turn around time is once again over six months.
Personally I would recommend:
Tess Neilson
Sandy Morrisey (although the Godfather of Moo is currently recuperating from an operation right now so...)
Dave Lifter poste here on BF as lifter4him
Dwayne Puckett posts here on BF as Leatherman
Mt Mike Bartol (don't know if he posts here but I can put you in touch)
All do great work at a reasonable price.
