Howdy,

Usually a kydex guy but I feel this new custom rmd (nuked) I just got is worthy of something special, its NICE,,& very NASTY :)
First, I wanna designate this one as my weekend/dress up/not lookin like a complete dirtbag knife :p
Ideally Id like an IWB but Ive never owned a leather IWB sheath so am not sure how practical they could be?
Anyone carry a rmd in a leather sheath regularly? If so opinions?

Thanks.

And here are some pics. The bruiser rat has me second guessing my carry choice. My gosh are these new custom rats so beautiful, nice work guys

That Bowie style bruiser is just dead sexy. As far as the sheath I've got a standard drop loop Chuddy Bear for my RMD Fits great and rides easily on my side.

Hey Eric, Just thought of this. I got a pancake style sheath for a SAR-3 from Don Ward at Ward Leather. It's a OWB but fits really close to the body and rides high. It easily disappears underneath a t-shirt. Might try giving him a shout.

Hey Eric, K. Rowe makes a great in the waste band Concealment w/belt loop. If you are looking at an EDC, this one is VERY comfortable. The only drawbacks to a IWB is it sometimes can cause a sweaty spot. Makes no diff if your talking kydex or leather. The nice thing about a sheath like that is you can wear it IN the waste band during winter and if you not comfortable in the summer then place the sheath between the belt and pants. You still have it secured with the Loop. just an idea. I've done it that way and it's no problem, really!!!
