...sitting on a PC keyboard... (Damn thunderstorms)...

Maybe the morning will bring some sunshine and a passage to fern gully....:D

have to have a 'out of the sheath keyboard shot to finish the thread with....

Very nice, thanks for the pics and the sheaths look great.(even if they are brown ;))

Now, let's discuss the real problem with this last pic...the Rat's look brand new, unused. When you planning some love for these babies. They do know there way home if they are mistreated(or not mistreated in this case ;):D)

:D:D:D

LOL! I was waiting for it! Trust me brother Eric, the next photos you will see will infest your worst nightmares....well, maybe not, but they will atleast show that the rats have been used.

Hey! The BR's used and I showed that, what more do you want!?;)

Turn the weather tap off and I will risk the digi camera outdoors!

They were all packed ready to ship interstate for a mate to try out, and then the leather sheaths arrived. My mate will have to wait until next week now....:D

Nice pics. The brown looks nice, just make sure wear brown socks with those. :D

I am waiting for a black, canted, left side cross draw for my CT! Mike was great helping me decide on what I really wanted.

I can't wait to see your after shots.

MTMIKE and LEATHERMAN will no doubt be along some time soon to answer that question. Both make excellent leather!

That one got resurected out of nowhere! Mike is going to be out of town for a while so dont get worried if he doesnt get right back to yall.
Warrior, do you want a sheath like the one Gundy has in the pics or one along the lines of a Randall type sheath? Either one of us can do one with the criteria stated. I usually use a copper type rivet on the heavier use sheaths, and a brass hollow rivet on the lighter use. Stitching is common with either a waxed nylon string or waxed sinew as Mike favors. Colors run a wide range from: saddle tan, brown, ox blood, english tan, and of course black.
I will send you an e mail on the particulars and I also leave it open to talk with Mike as well, he is a good friend an a good leather worker as well. Info overload!!

Thank you gentlemen! Leatherman, I got your email & you now somewhat know my needs & timetable. I must say I like your "Randall-style" sheaths too! I'd say that I'll eventually have to go with a copper rivets & dk. brown sheath...

Say, have either of you ever made a belt sheath for a GB Wilderness hatchet? That's another item I want to find some one to make a heavy duty replacement sheath for...
