Just finished this one up for a customer.

Actually, this is the second one....

Having taken some very BAD advice from somebody (and I ain't tellin who/what) I destroyed the first one completely. Boy was I  :grumpy:  !!!

Anyway, I figured since I was going to have to do it over again, might as well take some pics along the way and share with the group.

This Tutorial is aimed mostly at new guys. There's nothing here for seasoned knifemakers. The only trick is the lil' keeper strap. Also, it was made using a khukuri-inspired Bowie knife that is probably not very common "in these parts"....:p

I haven't always been able to find what I wanted online and have had to teach myself the hard way - trial and error (up to and including this sheath). So, I make tutorials whenever I can...or maybe it's just therapy.....

Anyway, the second time around, the sheath came out much nicer, and even a little better engineered. So, no complaints from me. Plus, it went a little quicker.

So, here's the link - take what you can of it...hope somebody can make use of it.

Boy, does that look like a nice package or what. Must be a really smart and probably good looking guy that had Dan do up that beautiful rehandle and sheath for the AK Bowie.

( :p :p :p . . . giggles gleefully, knowing that its mine, mine, all mine and that Dan sent it out yesterday!!!! I can't wait to get my hands on it)

Sorry if this doesn't make any sense, I was on drugs in the hospital yesterday and think I'm still feeling the aftermath.

Dan - you need a welt in there buddy. Dont want to cut the stitching.
Here is a close up of the side of a similar styled sheath to look at.
