I contracted with Wilma Davis to get a bunch of leather sheaths made for the K-TUSK model and they turned out great! Plus they are a reasonable price!

The sheaths have a "cam"...which means that the "guard" in the knife "drops" into a spot and locks it into place.

You can turn this sheath upside down and shake it all day long...it's not coming out.

The trick to getting the knife out is to lift it straight up before pulling it out.

I'm quite pleased with these sheaths.

Pricing is $35 + s/h.

Payment info here: www.kosterknives.com/payments.htm

Thanks!

Here's a pic showing the cam action:

Dan, will they work with the tanto point K-Tusks as well? If so, can you save me one to go with the ironwood KT? I have one of your original K-Tusks in the tanto point as well and would rather have a leather sheath for it.

Yes, they should work. I have some non-cam sheaths as well that work just fine...nice and secure...just can't turn 'em upside down and shake 'em.

I'll put aside one of the "cam" sheaths for you, Ted.

Yes - it is a gap in an extra leather welt. Easy to see...hard to explain...*shrug*

From your draw diagram, it's pretty easy to imagine. Gap that the front finger guard fits in, and a protrusion for the index finger choil?
