Well when the mule project started a couple of years ago I had no idea on how to go about putting handles on knives so I ordered a couple of sets from makers that were removable so I could retire the older blades and move the handles to the next generation. Well that lasted for the first year until I started putting permanent one's on, (thanks Mark at Burl Source for all sorts of fun wood) I did the same with sheaths and found a maker that made me 6 Kydex ones. Well along comes a new member that does leather work and has his product listed in Gadgets and gear under the name Wild Boar Knives. At $25 for two I don't think it can be beat for this quality and stamping. They came in a little stiff so I added some leather oil and they are sitting in front of the wood stove to warm but they fit the mules like a glove (oil stains in the pictures are my doing). Since this project is on going I am going to pick up some more of these. Hopefully this is not considered deal spotting, just a source of leather for the mules.
