I just opened a box this morning containing three sheaths that Kenny Rowe made for a couple of Dozier knives....one folder and two fixed blades. They are IMO absolutely perfect for my needs. I had a horizontal sheath made for a stag Pro Skinner that rides on the belt just where you want it to and the fit is perfect and tight! Kenny also made a vertical pouch type sheath for a Personal that I carry everyday and the same for a large folding Trapper. The craftsmanship and quality is first rate and I will be sending some others to him this week for additional work. His work is top notch and he is also a very nice man to do business with. I have contacted him by phone to express my satisfaction and he seemed very greatful and humbled that I took the time to let him know. Thanks again Kenny Rowe!

As I have stated many times, Kenny Rowe is a leather working God.

Danbo,

you forgot to capitalize the last word in your sentence.

Met Kenny at the Blade show a few years ago and he was a very nice fellow to talk with and his work is exceptional!

If Gary Graly praises a sheathmaker, what is there to add.
I have two sheaths of his. I've posted before about how great they are. Really well designed, and really well made. I'd go a bit fancier next time I ask him to make me one, because he does that beautifully as well.

Hi Chuck,

I've got one I'd like to send off to Kenny. Can you tell me what the turnaround time was?

Jack

I have usually gotten my knives back in a month or less. Depends on where he is in orders. He has a contract with the State Troopers for holsters and belts and sometimes that backs him up some.

Have Rowe Pin Lock sheath for my John M. Smith American Wilderness knife. Nice work and great fit! Sheath is Kydex lined, John's knives are very sharp and this one is shaprpened on the swedge. Am going to have Kenny make a pin lock for an "American Inner City" Fighter, John also made for me. Black leather, kydex lined, to match the blued blade and fittings on this knife. Dick

I've got a Rowe sheath for my Matt Lamey hunter, and it's an incredible piece of work. I can only imagine what a belt and holster combo would be like from Kenny. Them's some lucky State Troopers.

Kenny is not just "good"! He is damn good! He knows it, I know it, and so do myriads of others. It is always a pleasure for me when I meet Kenny. I admire his work and he tells me that he admires mine---sort of mutual respect for each other. If I did not use my own sheaths, I would surely use his!!

For those of you who don't know, Helmar (Sandy) makes the sheaths for Jerry Hossum's knives. Outstanding maker in his own right.
